Firm Overview

McINTOSH, SAWRAN, PELTZ & CARTAYA, P.A. is comprised of a team of highly qualified professionals, including lawyers, certified legal assistants, registered nurse consultants and support staff. With three offices in South Florida, and one in Central Florida, we can provide the accessibility and responsiveness often characteristic of smaller firms along with the professionalism, quality of services, depth of expertise and technology often associated with larger organizations. The firm's team approach, both within the office and with respect to its client relationships, is an integral part of its working philosophy. These ingredients enhance the firm's responsiveness, and have enabled it to provide legal services of the highest caliber. As an objective validation of these assertions, the firm is AV Peer Review rated* in the LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. Such distinction reflects the highest rating which may be bestowed upon a firm by its peers in the legal community.

The firm embraces a total quality management philosophy in an ongoing effort to maintain and improve delivery of high-quality legal services. These continuous efforts are designed to enhance the firm's responsiveness and overall level of service to its valued clients. Client surveys and other means are used to regularly measure client satisfaction. The cornerstone of the firm's service is to maintain regular and ongoing communication with its clients. This aids the firm in developing an understanding of each client's individual needs. It also helps to foster a "partnering" relationship between the firm and its clients designed to maximize the effectiveness of the firm in representing all client's interests. With offices in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, West Palm Beach, and Orlando, the firm is able to handle defense matters in the South Florida area, as well as throughout the State, with ease.

The experienced trial lawyers are admitted to practice in both State and Federal Courts including the Florida Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of the United States. They have served in prominent positions with voluntary bar associations and numerous professional associations, and have written and lectured on a wide variety of legal and medico-legal topics. The firm maintains an ongoing commitment to supporting the continuing education of its attorneys, paraprofessionals, and highly-skilled staff.

The firm also encourages, and is actively involved in, pro bono publico legal work in a number of areas. Our service to the public at no charge includes guardian ad litem, representation of minor children in custody disputes, outreach community program volunteerism, and other notable projects sponsored by the state bar, local bar, and national charitable organizations.
