MARTINA HERRETES is an Associate in the Miami office. She is currently admitted to practice law before all Florida state courts, as well as those of the Southern and Middle District of Florida. Ms. Herretes’ legal practice focuses on admiralty & maritime law and general civil litigation. She earned her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the Florida State University, and her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law. Ms. Herretes was admitted to practice law in Florida in 2007. Prior to joining the firm, she was an Assistant State Attorney in both Orange and Broward counties for nearly three (3) years. While there, Ms. Herretes litigated more than 40 jury trials to verdict. She is assigned to the Admiralty & Maritime Law Division under the direction of Partners Robert D. Peltz and Carol L. Finklehoffe.

Ms. Herretes is a member of the Dade County Bar Association, The Defense Research Institute, and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association. She is bilingual in Spanish.
