DAVID C. DUNHAM is a Senior Associate in the Firm’s Fort Lauderdale office. He is admitted to practice law before all Florida state courts, as well as all three U.S. District Courts within the state. Mr. Dunham earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from East Carolina University. He received his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law in 1993, and was admitted to the Florida Bar the same year. Mr. Dunham’s legal practice focuses on medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, toxic tort litigation, insurance coverage, subrogation and bad faith. Subsequent to completing his legal education, he earned a second bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Florida Atlantic University, and gained valuable experience in the formulation and testing of new products for a surfactant manufacturer in Boca Raton, FL, thereby enhancing insight into more specialized legal practices, such as toxic tort litigation. Mr. Dunham is assigned to the Firm’s Medical Malpractice/Healthcare Law Division under the direction of Partner Carmen Y. Cartaya and overseen by Partner James C. Sawran.

He is a member of the Broward County Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association.
