McIntosh, Sawran Adds Associate To Insurance Coverage
Division We are pleased to announce that Ms. Donna Wilson-Sampson has joined our Fort Lauderdale office as an Associate in the firm's insurance coverage division, under the direction of Doug McIntosh. Ms. Wilson-Sampson's practice focuses on all aspects of first-party and third-party insurance coverage defense litigation, including maritime claims, and other insurance related matters. In 1990, Ms. Wilson-Sampson received her B.S. in Legal Studies from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and received her Juris Doctorate from the Pace University School of Law in 1996. She also completed significant course work in pursuit of an MBA in Finance at the Iona College - Hagan School of Business. Ms. Wilson-Sampson began her legal career in New York, where she was engaged in private practice in the area of insurance defense, encompassing all aspects of third-party insurance defense litigation, and including premises liability, municipal liability, construction defects, personal injury, and wrongful death. In 2001, Ms. Wilson-Sampson relocated to Florida where she was initially employed in the practice areas of maritime law and commercial litigation, and thereafter, joined an insurance coverage practice firm in West Palm Beach, Fl., concentrating on first-party and third-party insurance coverage disputes in state and federal courts throughout Florida. Ms. Wilson-Sampson is licensed to practice in Florida (2002), New York (1997), and New Jersey (1997). She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern, Northern, and Middle Districts of Florida, and the Southern District of New York. Ms. Wilson-Sampson is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the American Bar Association, and has been approved to instruct insurance adjuster continuing education by the Florida Department of Financial Services.
